Meet The Dubit Platform

The Dubit Platform 2.0 is a group of technologies and tools for rapidly developing browser based virtual worlds. We've taken our experiences developing our own world in 1999, and worlds for customers, BSkyB, Motorola, and Cartoon Network, and wrapped it all up into one powerful package.
Contained with the platform are a suite of core features, including customizable avatars, rooms, friends lists, moderation tools, shops, private rooms, payment gateways, chat filtering, scaling, and loads more (browse all the features).
Unique to the Dubit Platform are the tools for creating social activities within the chat rooms, including multiplayer games, quests, narratives, and puzzles. Unlike mini games, these activities happen inside the world, they encourage players to work together, give them reasons to talk, and help them make new friends.
Next generation virtual worlds need this type of great environmental content, and they need it updating regularly. So we developed our Game Application Markup Language to hide the complexities of servers, synchronization, and persistence behind a simple HTML like syntax; by making difficult things easy we can focus on making the world fun.
Already four worlds have successfully launched with the Dubit Platform, with the most popular supporting over 12,000 concurrent players and receiving 5 million players per week.

Three reasons to choose the Dubit Platform
Proven: Build on top of the same GAML, GUI Components, and MultiUser Server technologies used for Cartoon Networks first ever virtual world that supported over 12,000 concurrent players and was lab tested to over 40,000 concurrent players.
Speed to Market: All worlds need shops, contact lists, payment gateways, customizable avatars, registration, wardrobes, moderation tools, inventories, and customizable private rooms. All these core features, and many more, already exist in the Dubit Platform so you can focus on the content and features that make your world unique.
Control: We give you the tools to create your own rooms, quests, and games so you can stay in control of your product, and in control of your costs.
